Bird in Bird Bath

Many birds migrate in the fall, heading south for the winter. Some of these birds, like juncos and sparrows, eat weed seeds. You can also offer them live or dried mealworms, which mimic what many birds have been eating all summer. If you have a water source, such as a birdbath or fountain, you will be even more likely to attract migrating birds. The moving water will act as a magnet for birds. By creating an environment that mimics how birds naturally live and forage, you can attract fall migrating birds to your yard.
